Ruby Tuesday has added a new brand to dine-in and to-go menus: Libby’s BBQ. The company announced the addition, which will be in all of the casual-dining restaurant’s stores, on Wednesday after initially planning to offer it as a virtual-only option.
Entrees from Libby’s BBQ start at $9.99 and include smoked beef brisket and pulled pork, available as an entree or a sandwich, and a new BBQ trio with smoked brisket, pulled pork and smoked sausage. The menu includes new sides including coleslaw, baked beans and house-made potato salad.
“This summer we welcome back gatherings with family and friends, and the flavors of the season like barbecue,” Jenifer Boyd Harmon, chief marketing officer for Ruby Tuesday, said in a statement. “At Ruby Tuesday, we are known for our fresh Endless Garden Bar and our Fall-Off-The-Bone slow cooked baby back ribs, making Libby’s BBQ a natural fit and giving our fans another great reason to dine with us. Whether in our restaurants or delivered to their backyards, we go wherever our guests are celebrating with fresh, affordable and delicious food.”
The Knoxville, Tenn.-based brand is also offering the menu items as a mix-and-match combo with already-available items and sauces such as the chain’s own BBQ sauce, Carolina BBQ sauce or Alabama White sauce.
The menu will be available through September.
Maryville, Tenn.-based Ruby Tuesday, which had 240 units at the end of 2020, emerged from voluntary Chapter 11 restructuring in February this year.
