This small, deep ruby colored berry is the Scandinavian equivalent to the North American cranberry (although lingonberries grow in North America, too).
Lingonberry is in the Adoption stage – it’s considered to be a specialty offering that can be found at full service restaurants, primarily in the Midwest.
