This generation oscillates between healthy options and indulgent treats

One thing that stands out in the Technomic America’s Favorite Chains data is that millennials love healthy options, and they also love a sweet treat.

This year, millennials’ limited-service favorite lines up with America’s favorite overall, with 71% of the generation giving Nothing Bundt Cakes the highest possible overall score.

“Millennials and Gen Z are interested in the brand because we have new cakes that drive more visits and help us stay top of mind,” said Sean Gleason, chief marketing and digital officer.

On the full-service side, millennials favor steakhouses and family-dining chains, much as they did last year.
