Raising Cane’s to open Dallas office

BATON ROUGE La. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the 70-unit quick-service chain, plans to move many of its corporate functions from here to a new support office in the Dallas area.

Company officials said Dallas Restaurant Support Office will be staffed and operating within the next four months.

Todd Graves, founder of Raising Cane’s, said, “Establishing a support office in the centrally located major market of Dallas provides us with a base of operations in a targeted growth market, easy access for current and prospective franchisees across the country and a more direct connection to industry resources that will give us the capacity to achieve our growth strategy.”

Graves found Raising Cane’s in 1996 in Baton Rouge. The chain now has 12 franchised and 58 company-owned restaurants in 13 states. It has two stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

The company plans to maintain a support office in Baton Rouge, where Graves will continue to be based.

Graves said “the development of a new office will position us organizationally for the growth of the brand.”

The company said some employees will relocate to Dallas, and others would be hired locally.
