Main Event Entertainment LP has named industry veteran Les Lehner to the newly created position of chief development officer, the company said Wednesday.
Lehner will oversee supply chain, purchasing, real estate and construction for Dallas-based Main Event, a subsidiary of Milsons Point, Australia-based Ardent Leisure Group that has 40 family-entrainment centers in the United States.
Lehner (left) most recently served as chief development officer and chief procurement officer at Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc.
“Les is a dynamic development executive with extensive leadership experience that will be invaluable as we move forward with our expansion plans,” said Chris Morris, Main Event president and CEO, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have him on the team leading such a crucial part of the business.”
Prior to Red Robin, Lehner held leadership positions at CEC Entertainment Inc., parent to the Chuck E. Cheese’s and Peter Piper Pizza brands.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to work for an extraordinary brand like Main Event,” Lehner said. “I believe the business has tremendous growth potential and I am confident we can build on the company’s established foundation of success.”
Main Event, founded in 1998, serves 20 million customers a year in its “Eat. Bowl. Play.” centers.
