Qdoba has named Kevin Carroll as chief operating officer, the company said Wednesday.
The 800-unit San Diego, Calif.-based brand said Carroll most recently served as COO of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar.

For the past seven years, Carroll was COO for Glendale, Ariz.-based Applebee's. Previously Carroll was senior vice president of operations for Chili's Grill & Bar, owned by Dallas-based Brinker International Inc.
Qdoba is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant with locations in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
