MIAMI Burger King Corp. officially introduced its Cheesy Bacon BK Wrapper breakfast sandwich on Wednesday. The new item features eggs, bacon, hash browns, American cheese and a smoky cheese sauce wrapped together in a flour tortilla.
The BK Wrapper sells for $1.39 on the chain's Breakfast Value Menu. A value meal deal that features two Wrappers, a small order of hash browns and a small coffee is priced at a suggested $3.99.
Burger King has promoted the Wrapper as the "breakfast of tomorrow" in TV commercials that have been airing over the past few days in certain markets.
Miami-based Burger King is the latest quick-service chain to introduce a wrap product. Wendy's, KFC and Sonic have all recently rolled out chicken wrap snack products, which appear to be modeled after McDonald's successful Snack Wrap product.
