Kroger’s Kitchen 1883 in Union, Ky. — not far from the company’s headquarters in Cincinnati — is a full-service restaurant offering “New American Comfort” cuisine, which “assimilates flavors from the melting pot of traditional American cooking techniques mixed with international components.”
The lunch and dinner menu includes seven appetizers, five salads, four sandwiches, four main dishes and three desserts, plus a four-item kids’ menu, and the weekend brunch menu adds breakfast dishes.
The 94-seat eatery, located adjacent to a Kroger Marketplace but with its own entrance, puts emphasis on local sourcing.
