Sonic Corp. has named four new vice presidents to its corporate leadership team.
The Oklahoma City, Okla.-based drive-in operator named Clas Petersson vice president of product and packaging, Bob Franke senior vice president of field services for the East region, Larry Archibald vice president of brand systems and Tanishia Beacham vice president of field marketing
“These four individuals and the work they’ll perform over time for Sonic represent a continuation of investing in talent and leadership for our brand,” said Clifford Hudson, chairman and chief executive of Sonic Corp, in statement.
Petersson most recently was vice president of global research and development and product innovation for Godiva Chocolatier. He will also lead Sonic’s efforts in developing creative, functional and sustainable packaging.
Franke has worked with McDonald’s in Europe and Latin America, as well as the Mrs. Field’s brand.
Archibald will work directly with Craig Miller, Sonic’s chief information officer, and joins Sonic after eight years with Whataburger, where he was director of performance reporting.
Beacham has been with Sonic since 2001, when she started as a field-marketing representative.
It was unclear at press time whether the positions were newly created or personnel changes.
Sonic has more than 3,500 drive-ins in 43 states.
