Pirates dropping anchor at this Vancouver, Wash. gastropub on Sept. 19 can wet their gullets with three new beers: Raisin’ Caine, Hunt For Grey October and Captain Slappy’s Swashbuckler Stout.

The pirate-themed spot in New Orleans will promote its new lineup of French absinthe on Sept. 19. Pours of this green contraband liquor will fetch a price of $15 and up.

This pub in Ashland, Ore., will co-host a local Talk Like a Pirate Day event, serving up themed dishes like “walk-the-plank” flank steak salad, vegetarian pirate pie, and pouring drinks called the Blackbeard and the Naval Grog. More adventurous seafarers can ask for items from the undisclosed “secret menu.”
