Taco Bell is reviving another of its long-lost menu items, the Double Decker Taco, first introduced in 1995. It would have been brought back earlier this year, but fans selected the Enchirito instead.
In other pretty big news, Burgerville is starting to serve breakfast.
It’s December, so there’s a lot of mint on menus these days, including in new items at Blank Street Coffee, Cousins Subs, Eggs Up Grill, Gott’s Roadside, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, La Madeleine, Moxies, Next Level Burger, Playa Bowls, Rreal Tacos (sort of; it’s a cocktail garnish), and Voodoo Doughnut.
Fatburger, for reasons of its own, is collaborating with Pepsi to celebrate the 125th anniversary of that company with an extra-large burger, and Studio Movie Grill is being very on-brand by launching a cocktail inspired by a film (Beyoncé’s, in fact).
There are seasonal smoothies at Smoothie King and seasonal cocktails at Eureka!, Firebirds, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Huckleberry’s, and Wings & Rings.
Rock N Roll Sushi now has its own sake.
Mellow Mushroom has reworked its burgers, and Dog Haus’s monthly sausage special is inspired by a bacon cheeseburger.
Twisted Root has a gingerbread shake.
Jinya Ramen Bar has a curry bun, Nation’s Giant Hamburgers has cherry pie, and Vitality Bowls has a bowl inspired by apple pie.
Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature is inspired by chicken pot pie.
Modern Market has a bunch of seasonal items, and Slim Chickens and Wings Etc. both have new mac & cheese, Sweetfin has a spicy new bowl.
