BJ’s Restaurants, industry bankruptcy updates, menu pricing

More changes are coming to BJ’s. Less than a week after naming Bradford Richmond as its interim chief executive officer, the company has appointed a new president and chief concept officer, Lyle D. Tick, as well.

Many of the restaurant industry bankruptcy cases will be bearing fruit this fall. Nation’s Restaurant News rounded up filing updates from chains including Red Lobster, Buca Di Beppo, and World of Beer.

Breaking: People think restaurants are expensive. More than three-quarters of Americans said in a survey by Revenue Management Solutions, or RMS, they are paying higher or much higher restaurant prices these days.

BurgerFi is facing a delisting. The struggling operator of its flagship burger brand and Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza received a warning that its stock could be delisted from the Nasdaq stock exchange over its inability to file a quarterly earnings report and a lack of members to the company’s board.
