Daphne’s California Greek, a fast-casual chain based in Carlsbad, Calif., has continued to broaden its menu with the introduction of four new $7.99 salads and four new $5.49 flatbreads.
The Chicken Pine Nut salad has roasted chicken and mixed greens tossed in pomegranate dressing. It’s topped with pine nuts and Gorgonzola cheese.
The Chicken Spinach Apple salad has spinach greens, roasted chicken, apples and candied walnuts tossed with Gorgonzola vinaigrette and topped with dried cranberries and Gorgonzola cheese.
The California Greek salad has roasted chicken, avocado, pine nuts, Roma tomatoes, corn, feta cheese, carrots, cucumbers and mixed greens with gorgonzola vinaigrette.
The Summer Berry salad, a seasonal offering, has mixed greens, roasted chicken, feta cheese and candied walnuts tossed in pomegranate dressing and topped with strawberries and dried cranberries.
The Rustic Greek flatbread is topped with tomato sauce, Roma tomato slices, cucumbers, tabbouleh, mozzarella and feta cheeses, bell peppers, red onions and Kalamata olives.
The Margherita has basil pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese and Roma tomato slices.
The BBQ Chicken is topped with barbecue sauce, mozzarella cheese, red onions and roasted chicken.
The Pepperoni has pepperoni slices, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce.
The 57-unit chain with restaurants in California, Arizona and Colorado has been repositioning itself from a Greek restaurant to a California restaurant with Greek and Mediterranean influences since Wreath Equity purchased it in August 2010.
