DALLAS Fast-casual chain Corner Bakery Cafe is touting its lower-calorie meal options in a campaign called “100 under 600.”
The 115-unit chain is showcasing more than 100 of its soup, salad and sandwich combinations that have fewer than 600 calories in what it describes as an effort to help customers keep their New Year’s resolutions to eat more healthfully.
Combinations with fewer than 600 calories include chicken pesto on ciabatta paired with roasted tomato basil soup, a club panini and chicken noodle soup combo, and the chain’s D.C. chicken salad sandwich combined with a Caesar salad.
As part of the campaign, the chain’s Twitter feed, @CornerBakery, will be asking questions twice a day from Monday through Friday, from January 11 to February 15, on the topics of healthful eating, nutrition and exercise. The first five customers who respond correctly to the questions will be mailed an offer for a free “Corner Combo” meal.
The chain has posted a list of all of its 100 Under 600 combinations at www.CornerBakeryCafe.com/100Under600.
