LUBBOCK Texas Food Concepts International, parent company of the 39-unit Abuelo’s casual-dining Mexican chain, has announced three executive changes.
Greg Baker, formerly director of information technology and information systems, was promoted to vice president of that division.
Kasey Whitten was promoted to director of human resources.
Chris Howell, formerly opening-units director, was named corporate beverage director.
“Our continued growth and success will be aided immensely by the strategic leadership and management skills of these individuals,” said Bob Lin, president of FCI.
Abuelo’s, which has units in 15 states, most recently opened a restaurant in Lakeland, Fla., and plans to open stores later this year in Chesapeake, Tenn., and Kissimmee, Fla.
