LOUISVILLE Ky. Long John Silver’s, a division of Yum! Brands Inc., has named independent ad agency Northlich of Cincinnati as its agency of record.
Northlich replaces Omnicom Group’s Element 79 of Chicago on the account. Spending was not disclosed. Northlich also handles public relations duties for A&W Restaurants, another Yum! Brands division, and recently created a “Moove to American” campaign for the chain to promote its use of 100-percent U.S. beef.
Don Gates, brand marketing officer for Long John Silver’s, described Northlich as the “perfect partner to bring Long John Silver’s brand positioning to life in a memorable way.”
The chain has more than 1,100 units in the United States.
