Pizza Inn Holdings Inc. appointed two executives to new positions Monday.
Flynn Dekker was named chief marketing officer for The Colony, Texas-based Pizza Inn Inc. and Pie Five Pizza Co., and Chris Smith was named vice president of operations for Pie Five.
Dekker, who has been consulting with the company since February 2012, will oversee marketing, public relations and communications for more than 300 domestic and international locations.
Dekker owned and operated an unrelated casual-dining restaurant in Dallas and previously served as chief marketing officer for the Fogo de Chao Brazilian churrascaria chain. He also worked in marketing with Metromedia Restaurant Group, FedEx Kinkos, EMI Music Distribution and Blockbuster.

Smith will lead expansion of the Pie Five fast-casual concept. Smith most recently served as regional director for Smashburger in the southern United States. He also has worked with Chipotle Mexican Grill, Mission Burrito and Star Concessions.
"These are incredible individuals with impressive restaurant backgrounds at the highest levels for well-known chains," said Randy Gier, chief executive of Pizza Inn Holdings.
Publicly traded Pizza Inn Holdings owns and operates 12 restaurants and franchises nearly 300 units.
