Through Dec. 31, IHOP is serving a holiday menu that takes inspiration from upcoming film "The Grinch," which will come to theaters on Nov. 9.
The lineup of treats includes Grinch's Green Pancakes — two green buttermilk pancakes topped with sweet cream cheese icing, red candy hearts and green whipped topping.
In another related ad, a man is seen at a police station reporting the Grinch for stealing his pancakes.
The rest of the limited-time menu features:
- Minty Who Hot Chocolate — hot chocolate flavored with mint syrup and topped with green whipped topping and red candy hearts
- Who-Roast Beast Omelette — an omelet filled with shredded beef, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, sautéed jalapeños, onions and hash browns, topped with barbecue sauce, shredded cheese and a serrano chile, and served with three buttermilk pancakes
- Whoville Holiday Cheesecake French Toast — two King's Hawaiian rolls served French toast-style and layered with cheesecake filling, raspberry topping and whipped topping
IHOP is also serving "The Grinch"-inspired kid's specials. The family-dining chain's parent company Dine Brands Global Inc. is based in Glendale, Calif., with more than 1,750 IHOP restaurants worldwide.
