Uncle Maddio’s has named Jocelyn Blain to the newly created role of chief development officer, the company said Wednesday, as the chain looks to boost its growth this year.
Blain will handle the Atlanta-based fast-casual pizza chain’s real estate, restaurant design and franchise development.
“Jocelyn has a proven track record of driving growth for emerging and established companies,” Matt Andrew, Uncle Maddio’s CEO, said in a statement. “As we execute a rapid growth plan, Jocelyn’s experience and adept leadership skills are what we need during this busy and exciting time for the company.”
Blain has more than 20 years of experience in office, retail restaurant and custom residential development projects, and has experience in multi-unit franchise development. She was previously chief development officer for the healthful Fresh To Order chain, and has also worked with Focus Brands and Taco Bell.
Uncle Maddio’s has 45 locations and lets customers build their own pizzas with a selection of vegetables and meats. The company has more than 250 units in development in 18 states.
