Domino’s Pizza, Inc. has promoted senior vice president chief technology officer Kelly Garcia to executive vice president chief technology officer. Garcia is replacing former executive vice president chief information officer Kevin Vasconi, who recently announced his retirement from the company.
“Under Kelly's leadership, Domino's has revolutionized online ordering for the quick service restaurant industry and introduced the AnyWare suite of digital ordering platforms," Domino's CEO Ritch Allison said in a statement. "Domino's is recognized worldwide for digital innovation, and we are extremely proud to have Kelly take the reins over the technology team, which numbers more than 400 talented individuals committed to making us even better."
Garcia joined Domino’s in 2012 as vice president of ecommerce development, and under her leadership the company launched Domino’s car-side technology and GPS technology in recent months. Before joining Domino’s, Garcia held leadership positions at RL Polk, Capgemini, and Ernst and Young consulting.
This is the third executive appointment or promotion Domino’s has announced in the past two months, following the promotion of Art D’Elia to chief marketing officer and Stu Levy to chief financial officer.
As of June 14, Domino’s has 17,173 stores globally.
