Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, cleanliness now ranks right up there as one of the most important attributes consumers look for in a restaurant.
For this year’s Consumer Picks, a data-driven report on customer preference and restaurant brand strength, market research firm Datassential asked consumers how chains ranked on cleanliness. In this gallery, meet the 10 chains with the highest percentage of consumers rating them “best in class” or “above average.”
The restaurants in this group are split between full-service and limited-service, with a variety of segments and foods represented, showing that any brand can gain a consumer’s trust when it comes to cleanliness and safety.
