Culver Franchising System Inc. has named Jim Esposito as chief operating officer, the company said Monday.
The Prairie du Sac, Wis.-based company said Esposito joins the brand after serving most recently as chief operating officer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based BurgerFi International Inc.
Esposito has more than 22 years of restaurant experience, including such brands as The Wendy’s Co., Burger King and Panera Bread.
“I am honored and excited to join Culver’s and help to continue its strong tradition of growth,” said Esposito in a statement. “I look forward to working side by side with the leadership team and all our owner-operators to deliver our guests delicious food in each one of our restaurants.”
In his new role, Esposito will oversee restaurant operations, innovation, restaurant growth and design strategies.
Culver’s sold a minority interest in the company to the Atlanta-based Roark Capital Group in 2017.
Culver’s, founded in 1984, has more than 850 restaurants in 25 states.
