Yes, there’s almost a full month left of summer, but pumpkin spice season is upon us, with new items from Caribou Coffee, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, First Watch, IHOP, Peet’s Coffee, Tim Hortons, Voodoo Doughnut and Ziggi’s Coffee.
But that’s not all that’s going on. Applebee’s is making Margaritas made with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s brand of tequila, so they’re calling them Manaritas.
BD’s Mongolian Grill, Bonchon and Urban Plates have new chicken bowls and Cracker Barrel has put fried chicken on the menu, while Burger King is testing a meatless chicken substitute in Cincinnati.
Fosters Freeze has a grilled chicken sandwich.
Hurricane Grill & Wings has chicken wings served over nachos, and Native Grill & Wings has two new rubs (and loaded fries).
Genghis Grill has a bowl with bratwurst over potatoes, Donatos has pizza with 150 slices of pepperoni, Sonic Drive-in has a cheeseburger inspired by Montréal steak, and Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature has pork, barbecue sauce and ranch.
