Every year, Nation’s Restaurant News presents the Top 500 biggest restaurants in America, ranked by systemwide sales in the previous fiscal year. This year, we’re using data from our partners at Technomic to give you the best report yet.
In this report, meet those chains squarely in the middle of the list: Those ranked No. 250 through No. 201. For each, you’ll also learn their systemwide sales and unit counts for 2023.
Of these 50 chains, 37 posted systemwide sales increases in 2023, and many posted huge increases: 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee did more than 250% growth, while Just Salad nearly doubled its sales from the previous year. 27 chains on this list added net new units in 2023.
These brands achieved more than $8.6 billion in sales across their more than 5,000 units last year.
