Art D’Elia resigns from Domino’s, effective immediately

Joseph Jordan will take over as interim executive VP of international

Art P. D’Elia has resigned from his position as executive vice president of international for Domino’s Pizza, effective immediately, as per an 8K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission dated Oct. 16 and released Tuesday. He'll stay on for a few months to help train his replacement through the end of March 2025.

While the specific reasons for his departure haven't been publicly disclosed, D'Elia will remain with the company for the next few months to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities. During this time, he will work closely with Joseph Jordan, who will temporarily take over until a new EVP is found. Jordan is currently the head of Domino's U.S. and global services operations, and previously held the position of executive vice president of international for Domino's from 2018 to 2022.

D’Elia joined Domino's in January of 2018 as senior vice president, chief brand and innovation officer. He moved up the ranks quickly, serving as senior vice president, chief marketing officer from February to July 2020, before working as Domino’s executive vice president, chief marketing officer from July 2020 to April 2022.

Domino’s also made headlines last week with executive moves when it promoted Kate Trumbull from chief brand officer to executive vice president, global chief marketing officer, a position that has been vacant since D’Elia vacated it in 2022.
