Hopdoddy Burger Bar has named Jeff Chandler CEO, the company said Tuesday.
Chandler was most recently CEO of Opper Melang Restaurants, a multi-concept operator based in Seattle. He succeeds Dan Mesches as CEO at the 16-unit, Austin, Texas-based, fast-casual burger chain.
“We are thrilled to have Jeff at the helm of our growing brand,” Guy Villavaso, co-founder of Hopdoddy, said in a statement. “Having grown up in the restaurant industry and leading teams for more than 25 years, he is fully equipped to make an immediate, positive impact on the company.”
Prior to Opper Melang Restaurants, Chandler worked with RAM International, a privately held, multi-concept, casual-dining and brewing company.
Hopdoddy Burger Bar was founded in 2010 by Villavaso and restaurateurs Larry Foles, Larry Perdido and Chuck Smith.
Hopdoddy has restaurants in Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas.
