Zoe’s Kitchen Inc. has named Sunil M. Doshi its new chief financial officer, the company said Monday.
Doshi replaces Jason Morgan, who resigned in June. Doshi comes to the Plano, Texas-based fast-casual chain with considerable retail experience. He was the CFO of Fossil Americas, a $1.8 billion division of clothing maker Fossil Group, since 2013. He started his career with Fossil in 2012.
From 1999 through 2012, before joining Fossil, Doshi served with numerous retail and lifestyle companies in various leadership roles.
“I am excited to add Sunil to the Zoës Kitchen team during this tremendous period of growth for our company,” Zoe’s Kitchen CEO Kevin Miles said in a statement. “Sunil is a strong cultural fit, embodying both a ‘people first’ mentality and passion to win. Additionally, he has a long history of providing financial leadership and developing and executing strategic plans designed to build powerful lifestyle brands. He will be an invaluable asset to our entire organization as we continue to develop our longer term strategies.”
Zoës Kitchen was founded in 1995, and currently has 160 locations in 17 states.
“I could not be more excited to join the Zoës Kitchen leadership team,” Doshi said in a statement. “I’ve been incredibly impressed by the team’s accomplishments to date and by its extremely passionate and authentic culture. I look forward to working with the entire team to help Zoës realize its unbounded potential and deliver long-term shareholder value.”
