Janie Page named CMO of The Human Bean

Certified coffee grader will lead strategy for the drive-thru brand

Janie Page has been named chief marketing officer for The Human Bean, the company said Tuesday.

Most recently on the marketing team at Community Coffee Company, Page got her start in marketing with PJ United, one of the largest Papa John’s franchisees. Her experience includes stints at Farmer Brothers Coffee and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, among others.

Janie-Page-CMO-The-Human-Bean.gifAt The Human Bean, a drive-thru coffee specialist based in Medford, Ore., Page will manage brand strategy, menu innovation, advertising, digital initiatives and work to strengthen the company’s strategic vision.

Page is also somewhat of a coffee expert as a Certified Q Grader of Arabic coffee, which is an advanced-level course with more than 22 tests.

“With her consumer-focused approach, marketing expertise and passion for coffee, Janie was a natural addition to The Human Bean leadership team,” said Dan Hawkins, co-founder and CEO. “We are excited and honored to have Janie join The Human Bean family and drive our marketing efforts as we continue to grow across the U.S.”

The Human Bean has roughly 130 units.
