The highlight of the Panda + Tea menu is the new bing.

Guests can order a signature Orange Chicken Bing with orange chicken, pickled cucumbers, crispy wontons and salad greens rolled into a Chinese wrap, like a burrito. 

They can also build a bing with other entrees, along with new “finishes,” like papaya slaw or chili sambal. Bings start at about $6.40.

Customers can also build their own tea drinks, choosing from a base of green, black or oolong tea, priced from $2.75 to $3.75. Some are available hot or cold, and add-ins, for an additional 50 cents, include tapioca pearls, lychee jelly, aloe vera and chia seeds.

Guests can also vary the level of sweetness, from zero to 100 percent.

Lemonades include classic, strawberry, pomegranate and sparkling ginger, and the menu also includes two smoothies: mango or berry.

The chain describes Panda + Tea as the “next generation of restaurants,” saying in a statement, “We have created a new iteration of restaurants that embody the intention and spirit of the original Innovation Kitchen and will have more consistent menu offerings.”

The concept is still considered in test. But, if it proves out, the new format will likely be rolled into new locations in the future, executives said.
