This year marked the 10th anniversary of The Emeril Lagasse Golf Classic to support the celebrity chef’s Endowed Scholarship Fund at his alma mater, Johnson & Wales University. The anniversary event, held Sept. 23-25, raised the highest amount of scholarship funds in the history of the tournament, bringing the 10-year total to more than $4.5 million.
 
Four Johnson & Wales College of Culinary Arts students, one from each of the university’s four campuses in Providence, North Miami, Denver and Charlotte, were awarded with a $10,000 scholarship.
