Fresh off of sharing its initial expansion plans in the United Kingdom, Chick-fil-A has announced its intention to open in Singapore in late 2025. The Singapore opening will mark the brand’s debut in Asia and will begin a 10-year, $75 million investment in the region.
The company is eyeing ambitious international growth in stores across Europe and Asia, supported by a $1 billion investment, as initially reported last year by the Wall Street Journal. Plans currently call for five international markets by 2030, with the U.K. housing the first permanent store outside of North America, followed by Singapore.
In June 2024, Chick-fil-A (Asia) Pte Ltd hosted a pop-up event in Singapore to help introduce the brand to the community and gain an understanding of consumer preferences in the region. According to the company, more than 1,000 Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwiches were ordered during the three-day experience.
“The profound love that Singaporeans have for food as well as the city’s strategic position as a gateway to the Asian market make it the ideal choice for Chick-fil-A’s first permanent restaurant in the region,” chief international officer Anita Costello said in a statement. “We are grateful for the overwhelming support and positive response from Singaporeans so far and we look forward to serving them in 2025.”
The Singapore restaurants will be locally owned and operated and will have the opportunity to participate in the chain’s signature Shared Table food donation program, which has provided more than 30 million meals to people in need since its creation in 2012.

Serving our guests with high-quality food and signature hospitality remains our top priority as we do so,” Hugh Park, head of Chick-fil-A Pte. Ltd. Asia Pacific operations, said in a statement. “Our unique approach, with locally owned and operated restaurants, will also allow us to better connect with people in Singapore as we provide an authentic Chick-fil-A experience.”
Chick-fil-A’s international strategy comes as the chain barrels toward $22 billion in annual domestic sales, third behind just McDonald’s and Starbucks. According to Technomic, the chain ended 2023 with just under 3,000 U.S. locations.
