Most recently, Carcara served as senior director of operations for Seasons 52, the Darden Restaurant Group specialty concept. There, he oversaw five regional directors and designed a store-opening and training process.

Mark S. Mednansky, Del Frisco’s chief executive, said in a statement that “Jeff's passion for developing an engaged passionate team, proven record of success and ability to guide those teams through periods of strong growth make him an ideal fit for DFRG as we build out 'next generation' full-service dining concepts.”

In addition to his work at Season 52, Carcara served as corporate director of food and beverage for the Kessler Collection Hotels and worked in the Houston's system, part of the Hillstone Restaurant Group. He also worked at Darden's Bahama Breeze restaurant concept.

Carcara received a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida, completed Level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, and was selected to participate in the Executive Leadership Excellence Program at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla.
