Papa John's Pizza

Founder and chief executive “Papa” John Schnatter began selling pizzas out of a broom closet in his father’s tavern in 1983, even selling his prized 1972 Z28 Camaro to fund the business that has grown to more than 3,200 locations. From the outset, Schnatter has been the chain’s spokesman to tout its philosophy of “Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.”
