MISSION VIEJO CALIF. —The 45-unit Claim Jumper dinnerhouse chain, based in Irvine, Calif., and the 19-unit Pat & Oscar’s casual-dining group out of San Diego, both are using TakeOut Technologies to support online ordering by customers.
Claim Jumper marketing director Steve Rezner said the chain looked to online ordering as an “added convenience to our guests.” John Wright, Pat & Oscar’s chairman and chief executive, said his chain’s guests “have embraced online ordering wholeheartedly and results have far exceeded our expectations.” —The 45-unit Claim Jumper dinnerhouse chain, based in Irvine, Calif., and the 19-unit Pat & Oscar’s casual-dining group out of San Diego, both are using TakeOut Technologies to support online ordering by customers.
Officials of Mission Viejo-based TakeOut Technologies said their system, which integrates with client point-of-sale systems and websites, does more than aggregate individual and catering orders for pickup or delivery. Also part of the package, they said, are cross-selling and upselling capabilities, an order-duplication feature to save users time when they want to repeat their last order or place a similar order, support for customer-retention rewards, and applications for analyzing user information and order trends. —The 45-unit Claim Jumper dinnerhouse chain, based in Irvine, Calif., and the 19-unit Pat & Oscar’s casual-dining group out of San Diego, both are using TakeOut Technologies to support online ordering by customers.
