32 executives on the move throughout the restaurant industry

See which chains added new members to their C-suites

This month, we saw several restaurant brands appoint big-name board members. From Craveworthy Brands to Papa Johns to California Pizza Kitchen (which appointed three new members!) to Bojangles and finally to Yum Brands, it was a big month to join a restaurant’s board.

That wasn’t the only news this month across the leadership teams at some of the largest restaurant brands across the country.

We saw several brands name new presidents while other executives stepped down from president or CEO roles.

P.F. Chang’s lost its CEO to an unnamed opportunity, while Maggiano’s Little Italy also lost its leader.

However, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, The Mina Group and Dunn Brothers Coffee all named new presidents while Tony Roma’s parent company, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group and Cracker Barrel all appointed new CEOs.

Other appointments included new chief technology officers at Qdoba’s and Modern Market’s parent company Modern Restaurant Concepts and Puttshack. Also, Chipotle and Yum both lost C-suite leaders, as did Dave’s Hot Chicken, KFC and more.
