There will be no more loitering at Starbucks. The coffee shop giant issued a code of conduct for all its cafes that forbids such bad behavior as discrimination and smoking but which also make clear that only paying customers may use such amenities as restrooms or the Wi-Fi.
McDonald’s has a bigger economic impact than you think. The fast-food giant said on Tuesday that it has a $76 billion impact on the U.S. and supported 1.1 million jobs. The company also supported $21.5 billion in local, state and federal taxes.
The future of Dave & Buster’s is in flux as the company undergoes a leadership transition. At the ICR conference, interim CEO Kevin Sheehan said that even though Chris Morris — who became the CEO of Dave & Buster’s after the company acquired Main Event in 2022 and left in December — “did a lot of very good things,” his leadership “wasn’t working from both sides.”
