Buffalo Wild Wings gets a sporty, tech-forward makeover

The chain has begun rolling out the new store design

Buffalo Wild Wings has unveiled a new store design featuring sports stadium-inspired seating, “MVP” areas designed for private parties and video game tournaments, updated audio/visual technology for tuning into the big game (or any game) and a designated takeout area.

The tech-friendly sports bar design — the chain’s first major design upgrade since 2012 — is already in place at two new locations in New Caney, Texas, and Bowling Green, Ky. Two more redesigned restaurants in Arden, North Carolina, and Fort Worth, Texas are expected to open in January 2019.

“Buffalo Wild Wings is all about creating legendary experiences between friends, and this new design was built to do just that,” Lyle Tick, president of Buffalo Wild Wings said in a statement. “We are giving guests the flexibility and freedom to truly be themselves and experience the game on their terms.”

Nation’s Restaurant News reached out to Buffalo Wild Wings for more information on further rollout dates, but the company declined to answer at this time.

Take a look at the design updates.
