Breakfast wraps, typically consisting of eggs, bacon or sausage, and other traditional breakfast fare in a tortilla or other flatbread, have long been popular as a convenient, portable and flavor-packed morning option both for customers on the go and people who want to tuck into a moderately sized morning meal. Lately they have enjoyed popularity as a viral sensation on TikTok, where users of the social-media site have shared the “Tortilla Wrap Hack,” which although not specific to breakfast wraps has driven this easy, customizable, on-the-go meal to new heights.
Breakfast wraps can be found on 1.3% of U.S. menus, a 58% increase over the past four years, according to market research firm Datassential. 87% of the population have heard of breakfast wraps, and 68% have tried them.
