BBI to help franchise Greenz salad concept

TULSA Okla. Beautiful Brands International, parent of the Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe concept, said Monday that it would begin marketing and franchising the Greenz salad concept of Dallas.

Greenz, founded in 2004, has three units in the Dallas area offering a menu of salads, wraps, sandwiches and soups. The average check is $11.

The agreement between Greenz owner Casie Caldwell and BBI covers product development, marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales and other aspects of franchise development.

“Greenz is an innovative fast-casual salad concept that serves guests amazing salads in a refreshing atmosphere,” said David Rutkauskas, founder, president and chief executive of BBI.

Last month, BBI announced a similar agreement with a Tulsa-based concept called The Crusty Croissant. Under that agreement, BBI said it would provide product development, real estate, legal, marketing, franchise and other support services.

BBI, which is also based in Tulsa, owns or franchises such brands as Camille’s, Coney Beach, Rex’s Chicken, FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafe and Dixie Cream Donuts.
