Salata Salad Kitchen, under newly appointed company president Michelle Bythewood, unveiled a brand overhaul Wednesday, June 12, that includes a new logo and website.
At the store level, the Houston-based fast-casual chain plans to overhaul more than 80 stores over the next five years to accommodate a new generation of diners. The redesigned locations will resemble the brand’s new prototype restaurant that opened in February at the company’s first Florida location.
That store features “dining neighborhoods” to accommodate various seating needs. For example, there’s communal tables for large parties, a lounge area for long stays and seating designed for those eating a quick lunch.
“We recognized the opportunity to elevate our in-restaurant environment by completely rethinking our strategic approach to the guest experience,” said Bythewood said in a statement. “Our new prototype addresses the need for increased day parts and an improved online ordering pick-up experience that is directly geared to increase our restaurant’s different revenue streams.”
