SALT LAKE CITY Fifty-four-unit Burger King franchisee HB Boys LC, based here, is rolling out to all of its restaurants the point-of-sale system and Enterprise Management Solution from SICOM Systems Inc., according to SICOM.
HB Boys vice president of operations Gary Moore said he was "very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the install technicians" and "very pleased with SICOM's 'can do' attitude in changing out our systems in such a timely manner."
Representatives of Doylestown, Pa.-based SICOM said the enterprise management system is an SQL-based application service provider product that aggregates unit-level data and provides users with exception-based reporting and menu maintenance capabilities using a standard Web browser. They said their 21-year-old company, which specializes in supporting quick-service operators, is among approved POS suppliers for the Burger King system and that its technology is in use at more than 2,500 of that chain's restaurants.
