Dine Brands celebrated the grand opening of its first domestic dual-branded IHOP/Applebee’s restaurant, located in Seguin, Texas. The company is targeting at least a dozen more such concepts to open this year after experiencing success in international markets.

The restaurant features classic dishes from both restaurant brands, as well as some mashups like the Buffalo Chicken Omelette and the Sirloin Steak & Eggs Combo. Seguin was chosen for the domestic debut because the location is operated by longtime IHOP franchisee R. Hakim Group and because the market is growing at a significant clip.
