Restaurant chains closing or moving to off-premise, coronavirus

As coronavirus affects restaurants and municipalities across the country, chains are taking extra measures to ensure customer safety.

We’ve been keeping track of the latest local and state rules regarding restaurant closures, but the chains below are also introducing their own nationwide rules to protect the safety of customers.

These restaurant chains have closed dining rooms, nationwide, as of March 20:

Chipotle: All units will halt dine-in services but remain open for delivery and takeout.

Dunkin’: All chairs and tables have been removed. Dine-in services have been halted while delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available at every unit.

McDonald’s: All dining rooms will be closed but restaurants will be open for drive thru, takeout and delivery at company-owned stores.

Wendy's: All dining rooms at company owned restaurants will be closed but takeout, delivery and drive through will still be available.

KFC: All dining rooms will be closed but takeout, delivery and drive thru are still available.

Taco Bell: All company-owned units will close dining rooms but delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available.

Starbucks: Dining rooms in company-owned stores will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru will still be available. Company-owned stores in malls and university campuses may close temporarily.

Chick-fil-A: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, drive thru and takeout are still available.

Shake Shack: Company-owned dining rooms will be closed, but takeout is still available.

MOD Pizza: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout will still be available.

El Pollo Loco: Dining rooms and salsa bar will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available.

In-N-Out: Dining rooms will be closed but drive thru and takeout are still available. The chain is not offering delivery at this time.

Krystal: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru will still be available.

Smoothie King: Dining rooms will be closed but drive thru and takeout are still available.

Jersey Mike's: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Just Salad: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Philz: All cafes will be closed until an undisclosed date.

Jack in the Box: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available.

Smashburger: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Panda Express: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available.

Snooze an AM Eatery: Dining rooms will be closed but takeout is available and delivery has been introduced.

Kolache Factory: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, takeout and drive thru are still available.

Qdoba: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Arby’s: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Tim Horton's: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, drive thru and takeout are still available.

Jimmy John’s: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery and takeout are still available.

Ruth's Chris: Dining rooms will be closed but takeout is still available.

Qdoba: Dining rooms will be closed but takeout and delivery are still available.

Pollo Tropical: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, drive thru and takeout are still available.

Sonic: Dining rooms will be closed but delivery, drive thru and takeout are still available.

Wagamama: All restaurants will be temporarily closed.

Zaxby's: Dining rooms will be closed but takeout, drive thru and delivery are still available.
