Meghan Farren promoted to president of Taco Bell North America

She has served as general manager of KFC UK and Ireland since 2022

Meghan Farren has been named president of Taco Bell North America, effective Feb. 10.

She has served as general manager of KFC UK and Ireland (UK&I) since September 2022. From 2015 to 2021, she served as chief marketing officer for KFC UK&I and started with the division as innovation director in November 2011, according to her LinkedIn page.

She also has experience with Asda, Fellow, Gu Chocolate, Marakon, and JP Morgan. Farren received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and completed a fellowship with The Marketing Academy.

Farren moves into the role shortly after Scott Mezvinsky was named chief executive officer of KFC. Mezvinsky served as president of Taco Bell North America and International since 2024 and is now assuming global responsibility for brand strategy and performance of Yum’s KFC division, which represents 50% of the company’s divisional operating profit.

Additionally, Rob Swain has been named the new general manager of KFC UK&I, replacing Farren. Swain joins the business from KFC Global, where he has been chief operating officer since 2022.
