Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc., parent to the Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana chains, has named Nancy Clark chief people officer and vice president.
Clark most recently served as a vice president for human resources in department-store retailer J.C. Penney Corporation Inc.’s global supply chain operations and international divisions.

“We are thrilled to be adding Nancy as the final piece of our executive management team,” said Tim Taft, chief executive of Fiesta, which recently moved its headquarters from Miami to Addison, Texas.
Prior to J.C. Penney, Clark held a number of executive roles in human resources for PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay, Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade divisions.
Clark said in a statement that “the Fiesta business model is poised for great success in the marketplace, and I am thrilled to join at such a critical time to set the people agenda in support of the organization’s growth strategy.”
Fiesta Restaurant Group has 251 company-owned and 43 franchised restaurants in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Cost Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
