Ben Affleck is reprising his role as a member of the fictional musical group DunKings, first in a commercial that was aired during the Grammy Awards on Feb. 2, and again, according to Dunkin’, during the Super Bowl on Feb. 9, to promote new menu items and a meal deal as well as merch, including the DunKings tracksuit that debuted last year during Super Bowl 56 in 2024.

The chain of more than 13,000 units based in Canton, Mass., is promoting a DunKings meal for $6 that includes a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, hash browns, and a medium hot or iced coffee. It’s also offering a discount on the limited-time Sugar Shakin’ Espresso that debuted on Dec. 31. A medium size of the shake is available for $3 after 12 p.m. to all customers.

Additionally, the chain has announced the return of its Raspberry Watermelon Refresher — a green tea- or lemonade-based drink with watermelon and raspberry flavors — and two new coffee flavors.

The new Vanilla Creme Cold Brew is made with cold brew coffee layered with brown sugar syrup, a vanilla flavor shot, and sweet cold foam.

The Toasted White Chocolate Coffee is made with classic brewed coffee with cream and toasted white chocolate syrup.

In the commercial that aired during the Grammy’s, Affleck appeared with his brother Casey Affleck and actor Jeremy Strong, perhaps best known for his role as the insufferable Kendall Roy in the 2018-2023 HBO series Succession.

Known as a method actor, Strong appears in his dressing room submerged in a barrel of liquid and coffee beans to prepare for his role in the upcoming Super Bowl ad.

Both ads are part of Dunkin’s continued partnership with Artists Equity, the production company of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who have been producing ads for the chain for years.
