Operators celebrate the mathematical constant with sweet and savory deals
Pi Day honors the mathematical symbol π, or pi, on March 14 because the irrational constant, commonly used to calculate the area and circumference of a circle, begins with the numbers 3.14. Restaurants have traditionally joined in the fun with specials on pies and pizzas. This year, operators have lined up promotional discounts on all sorts of pies, sweet and savory.
