Family meals — bulk packages usually for four to six people — continue to be a driving force during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Firehouse Subs Hot Head Burritos and Smashburger are the latest to offer those packages, although Firehouse’s special is only for three people, and Smashburger is targeting its offer to families of graduates who will be honored by their schools remotely.

Just Salad has expanded its delivery footprint for groceries, and said it plans to continue delivering them even after the crisis has passed.
Sweetgreen, seeing growing demand in the dinner daypart, is offering plated dishes in a new category called Plates.
