Fast-casual pizza brand Your Pie has appointed 15-year veteran Lisa Dimson as the company’s first chief marketing officer as they look to build their executive team. Prior to joining Your Pie, Dimson was CEO of digital fashion boutique Fab’rik, as well as previous positions as chief marketing officer for Tropical Smoothie Café and vice president at Arby’s.
“Within her first few weeks, Lisa has already proven a tremendous asset to the Your Pie team,” said chief operating officer Dave McDougall in a statement. “Her background, expertise and deep understanding of our industry allow her to see unique opportunities to amplify the Your Pie experience across the system. We look forward to how Lisa will shape and influence our brand, both currently and in the years to come.”
In her new role, Dimson will be responsible for marketing strategy, brand development, and a focus on technological innovation to raise the Athens, Ga.-based company’s brand profile and drive both traffic and store sales. As she begins her new role, Dimson plans to immediately elevate marketing strategies and streamline guest-facing technological integration.
“Your Pie invests heavily in supporting its franchise community, and marketing is no exception,” Dimson said. “My vision is to raise the bar for how we leverage marketing technology and accelerate Your Pie’s efforts beyond the industry standard to become a true leader in the space.”
In addition to Dimson, the brand has also hired Ashley Williams as director of training.
Your Pie is experiencing positive growth momentum and has grown their store unit count by 15% in 3Q. The company currently has 70 locations in 18 states, with more than 50 new locations in development and plans to expand their presence in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Virginia during 4Q.
