Kneaders Bakery & Cafe has named chief financial officer David Vincent to the additional role of president, the company said Tuesday.
Vincent replaces Gary Worthington, who founded Kneaders with his wife, Colleen. Worthington will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors.
"We are thrilled to have Dave continue his leadership with Kneaders in the role of president and CFO," Colleen Worthington said in a press release. "Dave has played an integral role in refining the Kneaders brand, which has directly contributed to the success and growth of the company. His leadership will undoubtedly continue to greatly influence the success of the brand."
Vincent has been with Kneaders for 18 years, having started as a part-time sandwich maker and dishwasher.
Kneaders, a 35-unit fast-casual chain based in Orem, Utah, sells bread, sandwiches, pastries, soup and sandwiches, and operates restaurants in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. It is slated to open its 36th location, in Tucson, Ariz., this month.
